Philosophy

Hughes Management’s philosophy on project management is that the degree of success of  a project is determined by the following attributes:-

  • Everyone involved in the project and in particular the stakeholders must enjoy the project.

  • Experts must be engaged in each of the fields involved in the project.

  • The project must be led and driven by a competent project manager who understands the subject matter of the project. Successful project management cannot be delivered on the discipline alone.

  • The team of individuals formed for the project must respect the input of all others so that the team is compatible and all working in the same direction with the same purpose and objectives.

The purpose of project management is to set up the scope, time, cost and quality parameters of a project and implement the project controlling the scope, time, cost and quality whilst managing the risks and organising the materials, resources and the stakeholders such that the product of the project is handed over to the project sponsor with all objectives met.
